States should be allowed to allocate health money as they choose, except when it would deprive Planned Parenthood???  What???

Remember when some states decided to redirect Title X funding from Planned Parenthood to community-type health facilities?

Remember that the then-President Obama put out a rule that said they couldn’t take money away from Planned Parenthood?

A legislative measure labelled H.J. Res. 43 reverses the Obama administration rule.

An action alert on February 15, 2017, urged pro-lifers to call in to the House of Representatives to say “Title X funding should be used to support community health centers, not Planned Parenthood.”

The resolution passed in the House , with all but two Republicans voting for the resolution and all but two Democrats voting against it.  Since Republicans have a large majority in the House, it passed with a large margin.

It now goes to the Senate, where it is expected to pass, and then goes to President Trump’s desk.  He is expected to sign it.
