Senator Chuck Schumer has said he will oppose the confirmation of Judge Gorsuch to the Supreme Court with a filibuster. National Right to Life and New York State Right to Life, as well as many other pro-life organizations, strongly support the confirmation of Judge Gorsuch.
Do what: Contact the offices of Senators Schumer and Gillibrand to ask that they support the confirmation.
How: Politely. You just need to register your support for Judge Gorsuch and your disappointment if the Senator is not going to support him.
Why: Even though we are not likely to change Schumer’s mind, he needs to know how many of us support Gorsuch.
Message: Judge Gorsuch is an excellent judge who will make his decisions based on the words of the law, not his own personal philosophy. Please support his confirmation to the Supreme Court.
Contact: You can call either the Washington office or their local offices. (Phone contacts at A)
Or you can use the e-mail link in the alert from NYSRTL, copied below at B.
Or you can go to their websites on www.senate.gov.

Alert from NYSRTL
Help confirm Judge Gorsuch to the Supreme Court!
The critically important confirmation hearings for Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court have begun.
Judge Gorsuch will do what a Supreme Court justice is supposed to do: interpret the law, not make it.
He knows that laws are to be made by legislative bodies, not courts.
With his judicial philosophy, Judge Gorsuch has ruled in favor of litigants like Hobby Lobby and the Little Sisters of the Poor. He has written a book in which he defended the idea “that human life is fundamentally and inherently valuable, and that the intentional taking of human life by private persons is always wrong.”
Thank you!
Life is too precious to be silent, Call your Senators today!
